Jeffrey Cohen is an architectural historian who serves as Senior Lecturer for the Growth and Structure of Cities Program at Bryn Mawr College. In addition, he plays an integral role in maintaining and promoting several digital resources for teaching and research. Three of these -- collections of images for teaching world and U.S. architecture that are parts of the Society of Architectural Historians’ (SAH) Image Exchange, along with a third that is part of a similar effort with the Vernacular Architecture Forum (VAF) -- may be used as testbed collections for the CLiMB Toolkit.
As a CLiMB collections partner, Jeff shares his expertise in the field by identifying available texts that reference the architectural sites found in the SAH resources. In addition, his active participation in a number of professional organizations enables him to keep us apprised of opportunities for seeking participants for both the end user and cataloger studies that we will be conducing as part of our research.
